KIDS LOVE TO PLAY, KIDS LOVE TO EXPLORE
KIDS LOVE TO LAUGH, KIDS LOVE TO LEARN
We would like to recognise the traditional owners of the land, the Kaurna people, on whose land we build our community today.
Our centre philosophy is reflective of our values and beliefs and family instructions and requests.
Belonging, Being and Becoming is what we strive to maintain with our children, their families and our staff at the centre.
BELONGING BEING BECOMING
Laugh N Learn aim to recognise the importance of these early years, and to provide an appropriate environment that is relaxed, warm and nurturing, ensuring each child, family and educator feels a sense of belonging.
We strongly believe that children’s learning and development takes place in the context of their families and that families are children’s first and most important educator.
With your permission, and request of present and past parents/ caregivers while your child is here at Laugh N Learn Child Care & Learning Centre, we will follow all the guidelines of the Early Years Learning Framework and program for all the children’s growth and development and encourage all children’s learning and growth, equally and without bias. We will provide them with stimulating and challenging programs, while catering to individual needs to include school readiness activities.
• The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and The National Quality Standards
• Support the learning and growth of all children.
• The goals and philosophies of the centre parents and the larger community
• Development and individual needs of the children.
• Children’s special needs
• Cultural diversity and differing family structures.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ‘FREE PLAY LEARNING’
Laugh N Learn Child Care & early Learning Centre believe that free play is very important for children. Through free play, children explore and learn to understand the world around them as they come to communicate, discover, imagine and create. When children enjoy free play, they are showing what they have learnt and what they are trying to understand.
Our centre, the children and their families are part of a larger community. We are open and supportive in our communication with other in the community, we welcome their ideas, views and we maintain positive relationships with them.
The families of the children in our centre can relax in the reassurance that their children are happy, safe and are given every opportunity to LAUGH, LEARN and GROW while they are at this centre.
